This is the time of my life:

Simply, this is a story about Lucy Silchester trying to set footing of her life after being left by her boyfie ( but she told her friends the vice versa ), got fired from her job (but she told everyone that she resigned from her previous job), work in conflictual surrounding ( she wrote in her resume she knows Latin) and cold relationship with her father became farther. She told lies all the time. Her family then, signed her up with Life Agency to help with her life. From there she started to regain what she used to be, even a better one.

The full synopsis of the novel is at the back of the cover which I don't intent to copy and post it here.

One thing I learnt from this is never lie. *thunder striking*

Every year, I always stoked when Chinese New year is imminent.. That is because Mcdonald's will serve Properity Burger with twister fries as the sideline menu. I love twister fries and that explain why I have twisted life #lamejoke..

As a cheapskate and a penny-pinching person, this year I managed to find the cheapest CNY card ever . Really is cheap, it only costed me RM2.50. Hallmark do not sell RM2.50 card, so it is from Memory Lane actually.

I believe it is not the price of the card, but the sincereness is that matter (I can't believe I write this crap).

Ball On The Water

TV commercials play huge role on me especially when it involve my fave personality. As for me ; Yuna.

Her TV commercial for Libresse has influenced me ~~to buy Libresse for mom~~ to play water ball. Not rolling on the ground as she did but floating on the water like I did recently.

I kept stumbling everytime I tried to step up..A sudden vision of me when I was a child came through my mind..It was me as a toddler trying to walk.

Okay that was a joke.

I couldn't think of anything except for trying to figure how to balance the ball..It was a "breathtaking" experience..After I was out of the ball (thank God), I felt like the world was spinning faster that it used to be..I say this is one of the thousand things you have to do before you will be diagnosed with asthma..

PS : I think the organiser paid RM5 per person and the ball is yours until you are spent!

& So does its food..It is said that there is a snack shop every three steps and a restaurant every five..It is must be terrible walking down the roads in Taiwan during fasting month..

I recently found this shop selling snacks from Taiwan..For a gourmand like me, the excitement of trying new foreign food is like a doctor just found cure for cancer..I am not a gourmet because I only know who to cook instant mee for everyday, but I can tell this shop serves one of the best snacks I had ever tasted before..And for sure it is Halal!

Excitement & 50% off brought me here ; Tutti Frutti Bukit Beruang. And peoples kept posting their pictures on fb made me even more unease to sit still at home.

So long story short I went there. To make me less sinful, I consider it as a reward for myself after 2 days of 9am-until-5pm-class during the weekend and now it is paid off!

It is just one of the ways of me telling I went back to hometown. This time for Aidil Adha celebration. Notorious for seldom going back, peoples would ask me these two question during the holiday season

"Are going back hometown this time?"

"Yes I'm going back"

"which hometown?

"*sigh*"

Because I believe the second question is more to mocking than asking, I left the it unanswered like some theory questions in final exam. It was a wasteful time of mine to memorize a bunch of words just to forget them in the exam hall. *Sigh*

I did not remember how much I detest to wear sarong before..Some of the reasons, maybe :

1) The insecurity that I felt that the sarong will loosen itself at that time
2) I thought sarong only for older

But I guessed the main one is because I did not know how to wrap it around my body and tuck it at my waist. But recently I found this tutorial teach you on how to wear sarong properly..No offence!

There is no good news so does bad news..Considering my eraser or sometimes the ruler is always missing out of pencil box as daily regular basis, there is no bad news at all..There is nothing for me to dwell on for the past few weeks, so I chose not to write anything..

New term started almost a month ago, so did some soaps..On weekly basis, I download Desperate Housewives on Monday, Glee on Wednesday, and Grey's Anatomy on Friday..I have to write it on post-its so it won't slip into my mind..

So on those days, every week, I am fully responsible for the slow internet connection, almost at the rate of snail's pace..

I got my mojo back since I bought myself a brand new mouse..Yes it is true/No doubt/ I bought it by myself..Noooooooooo it is not from my mother.. Because if it is from mom it would be a mouse from the pet shop..

It has been a while since my last post..I know I had been quite stingy lately..I am not a big fan of "raya"..So, kalau kena kerja kat pelantar minyak time raya pon memang sanggup..Anyone terasa, please drop your comment!..So there won't be any post about me having-a-good-time-with-rendang-&-ketupat post.. After mintak duit raya with all the relatives I went straight home..I slept during most of my "raya" days..Who cares who came to my house #kejam..

There was one days when a group of my former schoolmates came to my house and I was sleeping, because traditionally there won't be any friends of mine yang datang beraya ke rumah..Unexpected and yet surprise with their existence at my house..So when they did, I was a bit shocked plus mom was not at home to help me with the drinks..But everything went with the flow, zaman sekarang memang senang, I just served them with the soda drinks..Moral of the story, before datang PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE text me first so I can prepare something decent for you guys and I can be in welcome-able condition..

This year, "raya" is the most epic one I ever had..Like I wrote in the last entry, I didn't buy anything new for me..

Anyway, it is still "Syawal" and it is never too late to wish

Yuna is going to perform at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, and yes I am going to be there! Kak Wa is going to pay the ticket on behalf me and that is so generous of her and I will pay her back once I've done collecting my ang pow and that will make Kak Wa is not so generous after all ;)

My magazine debut (shall I say) in Remaja September 15 edition..I really don't know how I am going to look like but according to the hairstylist I am doing Pattinson R hairstyle..Do I rock the look? Let us wait!!

Yes I know August is still running and I should be excited on coming Hari Raya festive..In fact I am NOT, AT ALL like seriously..I didn't even buy new Baju Melayu to be worn on first Syawal..I mean what is the point of having a new one, when every time I go to Jumaat prayer I only my wear my daily wear..Kan??? Last week I was at KL for a few days and managed to get myself to go to a few malls and in the end I didn't buy anything..Ok that is quite a lie, I bought myself a book at 30% off paid RM10 for M&S cookies since Myra gave me RM6 for accompanying her doing impromptu shopping..Actually I was the one who asked to pay RM6 for the cookies, teehee (gaya Ryan Higa)..But believe me Myra I was sincere, that is the crucial one, teehee (lagis sekali gaya Ryan Higa)

I am excited about coming Ramadhan and most of my friends are being excited about the end of the internship program..That will be two more days except for a friend of mine who is going to finish her program at Texas Instruments by 26 August 2011! Full industrial training report need to be submitted before 5 August 2011..That is a week after the internship program..Okay, at least, I need a month like 31 days in it to finish the report..Sara Burton took more than a month to finish Kate Middleton's wedding dress..So do the full report..I mean both are complicated things to do..You get me right? I think is a tad unfair on behalf students who suppose to benefit the fasting month with religious practices..Oh now I am really good at making excuses..Teehee!

Harry Potter The Deathly Hallows Part 2

My advice is DO NOT watch Harry Potter because it is the it movie now because ~~of you I never stray too far from the sidewalk..Eh shut up you Kelly Clarkson!~~ it is a "sin" when you call Voldermord as Dumbledore..Even sinful when you say it convincely..Okay, those who said it actually sat next to me during the film was rolling..I almost wanted to burst into laugh..Is not it obvious Dumbledore has a long white mustache and beard like A Samad Said who never seen razor whilst Voldermord has no hair at all on his head and nose that was as flat as a snake’s with slits for nostrils..

So overall I rate 4 and half stars for Harry Potter The Deathly Hallows Part Two..There is a half star because I am quite disappoint why didn't ~~Harry Potter~~ himself killed the last horcrux (~~Nagini the snake~~) instead of ~~Neville Longbottom~~..It is no longer surprise if you know who killed what instead of who, that is why I scratch the name..Teehee

For those who are the avid viewer for the Harry Potter's sequel, this is a must watch movie

one of the privileges of being a student, I only paid rm6 instead of rm11 for the first day screening of HP7

PS : In case you insist to pick up your phone call in the cinema during the movie, please do it outside the hall..Due to obstructions such as walls the signal may vary and lead you to speak even louder IN THE HALL.. Seriously is so obnoxious! I really need to listen the characters in the movie speak the dialog with English accent

How To Get Discount On Book?

When I am at Melaka, most of my books, I buy at Popular Bookstore.. Why Popular? Simply because there is no Kinokuniya here and MPH kind of sell ancient manuscripts..Shame on you Melaka, shame on you!

Normally Popular will have sales for member card holders, which require you to pay so-called-member's fee..In my book, member's fee is a conspiracy of bookstore..You actually pay your discounted books in advance..So NO, NEVER apply for member's card, it is such a total waste..

Ting, ting, ting *sound of tinkling fork in a glass*..This is the part where you should pay more attention

This is what I always do when I want to get discount on book..I would ask a customer with member's card who to pay for me with my money (of course)..I got 20% off from these two books

A part of my internship program, a lecturer will come and visit me by next week on Thursday 10am (& two days after that is my birthday!)..I don't think visit is a good choice of word here..I prefer "drop-by-for-a-while-after-she-had-her-brunch" is the best to picture my situation..

Now, my company is conducting a project at UTeM's laboratory, so there I am at UTeM..For the last two weeks I haven't jog down anything in my logbook ( some call it as a diary) let alone the full report..What am I going to write in those 10 blank pages..Oh I have an idea, I just say I read two books of Shopaholic series..Okay that wouldn't go very well..Maybe I just write the synopsis of the two books..It is all written on the back cover of the book, after all..Okay both are stupid ideas..

This is what happen I believe to all of the student who are doing internship program now ( or maybe it is just me ) when it comes to pass-or-fail subject..Everyone become indignant and incompetent..Well I hope everything will be OK next week..Well it has to be!

I am so free these days..Like you-can-ask-me-to-watch-movie-tonight-if-only-you-treat-me free during the weekdays and you-can-invite-me-to-a-2-days-in-a-row-sleepover-party-without-even-wake-up free during the weekend..Okay, maybe the last part idea is a bit preposterous but why not..I am free because I chose not to be free..Looking for a part time job in Melaka is like looking for perfect candidate to be a wife..Unmarried chap, I feel you..You know mother-in-law these days, they were like in circa 60s..Eh, salahkan ibu mertua pulak..Yelah, takkan nak salahkan ibu mengandung..

Some jobs even require six months working duration..Crazy huh..If I was in some reality telly, I maybe have an album (only if I made it to final )..Despite all of these expressions, I am still looking for a job because :

How To Make A Mug Of Tea

Step 1 : Do not pace! Haha..Fill up your mug with hot water at temperature 100 degree celcius..Do not measure your hot water with any thermometer, if you did not skip you science class during form 1, your teacher must have told you,temperature for boiled water is 100 degree Celcius. Then immerse a tea bag for 3-5 minutes into the water as the shown in the picture above

Whilst waiting for the immersing process, you can online for a while!

Then throw your tea bag into the rubbish..Don't reuse your tea bag for second mug of your tea..Why? Because I asked you so..Please don't be so stubborn!

Next, put four teaspoon of sugar but if you have interest to suffer diabetes it is all my pleasure to allow you to put more than amount I suggested at first

Add a little bit of drinking water into the mug to cool down the tea..Please don't mind the water in the picture is not flowing into the mug (gambar sekadar hiasan!)

Watching Grey's Anatomy during study week might be a good idea if I am a medic student..In case I am assigned to write case study, the show might give me inspiration to finish my assignment..After acute addiction to Grey's Anatomy, my conclusion is I should be a doctor..Hah! there it is, the understatement for this month!

You will never expect me to stand up proudly when national and university anthem were playing, let alone to hear I sing them..Well I did today during "Majlis Perlantikan Ecxo MPP", could not be more proud ~~and ashamed~~ ..Proud to be Malaysian and proud to be UTeMer though UTeM is placed at number 21 among the universities in Malaysia..As proud as my mom wearing my MHS's shirt saying "my son is studying at UTeM!" (MHS = Minggu Haluan Siswa)..You know how mom is..err*..Unfortunately, the proud-ness and the insanity are just not enough to ask me to climb flag pole to get those flags involved..Hehe

Unless you are colour blind, this is me wearing green-not-yellow shirt..I am going to be awkward times fifteen if you did not recognized the colour..How could you passed your driving test..Ermm?..

So this was me with classmates during the free smoke campaign..It was proven L is way too large for the girl on the middle with size zero and L is perfectly fitted for the girl on the right ..Seriously, for me the campaign is just a formality because a second after the campaign started, I found a bunch of smokers were smoking in the washroom..err* ..I was like Baby, baby, baby oh, baby, baby, baby, no - Oh shut up you Justin Bieber!..I was like "hah"..What is the point of joining this campaign guys?

Because I know writing down "I like shopping and movies" for my CV under activities would not go very well, then I decided to join a sort of motivation camp "Kem Remaja Unggul" aslo know as KRU, organised by my faculty association, SAFEE, last weekend..Since the laughing machine, Kak Ani, joined the camp too, I thought why not I join the camp too..This is a part of me doing social services as ~~Singaporean~~ Malaysian along with my intention to get certificate as many as I could to attach with my resume..

Halve of the truth is, I was really stoked about this camp because this is my first time of being Abang Fasi..err*..Gelimat sekejap..Seriously, the camp was fun, especially at the closing ceremony where candidates asked for my autograph and facebook account..For a moment I had the feeling of being a public figure..Feel free to slap me for the feeling though..

Other than that, the war game where team from candidates against team from facilitator was fun too where we were cheating the amount of weapon we had to attack the other team..100 bullets for facilitator's team and 30 bullets for candidate's team..Oh hell yeah, definitely we won the game! Hahaha

Howdy everyone!

Out of nowhere, I suddenly recalled one of the speeches by a teacher during assembly when I was in secondary school..You know secondary school, when I was in white collar short sleeve shirt and dark green trouser and white sneakers and dark green neck tie with school batch on it

I only wore neck tie on Sunday because every Sunday (yes! at Terengganu, new week start by Sunday) there was school assembly & to avoid from boastful school prefect to list down my name in their 555 little notebook..Pengawas sekolah je pon..err*..But I miss high school though

So, during the assembly the teacher said "according to a survey, Malaysian only read two books every year"..Well I am pretty sure those who conducted the survey did not count magazine as book..But teacher here I want to say,some surveys are made to be broken ~~by me,~~ the survey is no longer relevant because I am Malaysian & this year I had read four and a half books..Why there is a half? Because now I am in the middle of reading my fifth book!

My fifth book for this year after Remember Me, Can You Keep A Secret & The Undomestic Goddes all written by Sophie Kinsella and Rapunzel Book Of The Film..The Reader written by Bernhard Schlink..This book only cost me rm8 because it is a 2nd hand book sold by one of Kak Wa's friends..It is still in good condition though..

My books for the past few years and some from this year where the survey from my teacher's speech was relevant

Feel free to kick the person above but no pinching cause I am easily bruise ! Hahaha..And me was pretending reading my fourth book..

At first I thought it is easy to drive a car but it is vice versa..These words came across my mind whilst I was learning how to drive manual car at driving school this evening..

of course I have never being in labor room and give birth to any baby, but mom used to tell me, after giving birth to all her babies, she will feel back ache and I felt back ache too after drove the manual car..The fact that I have lack of skills of doing everything synchronously, makes driving manual car a bit tough for me but Pak Cik instructor is very cool..Haha..The End

"You're Firdaus right?" said the lecturer and I replied "errr...yes"..Then he asked me "switch on the light" and he ended up the conversation and continued with his lecture..Oh wait, am I going to write a hundred pages of novel here..Obviously NO!..

But seriously, SERIOUSLY, in my opinion ( i don't what is yours ) the tone was not the tone to ask a student to switch on the light..It was the tone for If-you-can't-answer-my-question-I-am-going-to-throw-you-out-of-the-window's tone..The tone spooked me..I am not trying to exaggerate here but I prefer people talk to me with right tone..AM I RIGHT EVERYONE? don't shrug please!

The hilarious part of the lecture the other day was when the lecturer asked the fellow classmates, what is the application of the high voltage..(Don't laugh yet, the question is not even funny!)..And I did not noticed who answered the question but he/she said "Plantation"..HaHa..I knew what he/she was trying to say was "Power Plant"..HaHa..But "Plantation" and "Power Plant" are so two different things..I did not mean to offend anyone here, but if you do, thousand apologies!..Anyway thanks for your answer mate, you succeed to break the class tense..

And the class ended up with no quiz..Hooray! Till the next lecture..Assalamualaikum!

Last night, I managed to read a few pages from the first chapter..Before I reached to "happily ever after" part like typical book of fairytale, I fall asleep..So, no wonder some moms ( not my mom ), read fairytale story to their children before they sleep..The question is I am not a baby not yet a children anymore, I am a twenty-something teenager who could wait to finish his degree programme..Now I know how to cure my insomnia..

This is a good book, worth to buy and nice to be kept! Enchanting as any other fairytale stories and could not make you stop laughing! I like!

One day, in a class, during the lecture, when the lecturer was giving his lecture and my mind went to nowhere..hehehe..I was like smelling strange odour in the class..For sure it was not someone in the class fart..Yeah I was so so so sure ;three SOs to show how convince I was. but I did not make the words out of my mouth..So I chose to keep day-dreaming until one of my classmate went to the front and switch off the lamp..Crap! the gas leaked from the bulb..That was what causes the strange odour..

I am twenty-one-year old almost twenty two and I have pain in my back, that is the clue to the riddle..A bunch of people already asked me to check with the doctor but I just could not kick myself to be there at the clinic..A maybe useful information I got from watching Grey, pain in the back maybe due to spinal cord and can lead to worst-case scenario ; paralysis..Oh please, God forbid that..And best-case scenario lead to nothing ;AH sakit gedik-gedik

I am having this kind of pain and to be clear my actual body is not as tough as the picture above..Haha

Sometimes I rather be broke than have a wallet loaded with cash..That is the understatement of this year..I am a person who can handle cash very not too well..Spending money is my forte and it is also my specialty and did I mention money is my weakness too..Boohoo me..

For instance, yesterday I went out to settle two things ; format my laptop and get my hair done..I did not managed to format my laptop and I managed to get my hair done with the extra service that I paid with the extra money I should spend on my laptop..In this case I want to point my fore finger blaming the hairstylist with his magic spell..Another one (me) bites the dust and I said yes, do the extra..At the end I was a bit disappointed..I wish I could turn back the clock and make it yesterday before I agreed to the extra thingy..
